As they explore the beauty and complexity of the Appalachian city of Bristol, which bestrides two states, three friends realize that they have a lot more to learn from each other than they had originally thought. With a backdrop of Nascar, a Magritte painting, the Confederate flag, and a lot of stolen soda, they find that defining themselves and each other is a much more complex and ultimately rewarding attempt than it first seemed.
