“Frame” is poetic and lovely. The film image is warm and its texture is smooth. The lead character, Kelly, wants to express herself, which becomes one of the film’s motifs. She encounters different situations, one involving nature, and another involving music, which in the end inspire her to create a work of art. Kelly, in her search, seems to ultimately be happiest when she is finally able to express herself through art and evoke love and happiness in others. Showing at Secret City Film Festival: Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 – 12:30 p.m.
