Hammond is the FORMER chairman of the Commission. Tony Norman is now Chairman
Gary Mitchell should have spent more time being a business man and stop looking for excuses for his failures.
Who is the moron going to sue?
Is that Barney Frank?
When Repubicans leave, it is "cashing in." Wonder what it is when Democrats do it?
"too difficult for anyone else to organize to run"????
I would have taken only 25 signatures to get on the ballot.
Unopposed in the August primary - they would have had until NOVEMBER to run the general election. I could get my dog on that ballot and get 25% of the vote against Hutch.
Quit shilling for the pathetic Democrats.
They are so inept, they can only whine about Burchett's soon-to-be ex-wife and her stealing from his campaign fund.
not sure what is worse . . . Hurley being an idiot or you relying on Hornback for reporting information.
Both are pretty pathetic.
It would have taken only 25 signatures to get on the ballot.
That's all you give Fred credit for? Being an actor? That little law career he had going wasn't a bit more prepratory than being an actor?
You are right - Law Director is complicated. It is hard to explain to people what he does. And the press is not very curious about it either.
Maybe you should ask Jarret why he approved the Trustee's salary suits (2 years plus an amendment) with the bonuses in there for employees who hadn't earned them. JDIII needs to clean house, but Jarret needs to come clean on his "advise and counsel" to the Trustee.
He also needs to explain why he took 3 different positions on the mayor's attempt to take over the fee office budgets.
And then there was the bad advice he gave the mayor on severance payments.
Jarret may have experience on paper - but what good is that if he can't figure out that right answer?
"You don’t have to live in the district until after you are elected"
Actually, you have to live in the District on Election Day.
in response to sstirrer: Kathy Quist for Law Director!!

she might have to show up for work . . . she hasn't done that - well - ever.
dang - did you guys hire Van Guilder? this is the kind of crap he writes.
Swann needs to go - he is arbitrary and capricious in his rulings, his demeanor, and in the schedule he keeps (only 100 days a year)
