Written on Sushi Spot:

This place is phenomenal! My husband and I crave this place at least once a week. The food is spectacular and affordable (two can easily dine for under $30—that’s including sushi as an appetizer and a hibachi-styled meal). They serve generous portions of their very tasty and creative sushi (must try “Jake’s Roll”). We've made this our new "sushi spot", pardon the pun...but really we used to go other places in Knoxville for sushi, but no more…this place takes the cake. In addition to their sushi (which you can watch being made) they have wonderful hibachi-style food, soups, salads (LOVE their special dressing), and appetizers. They serve a nice assortment of beer and you can bring your own wine, if that's more your style. The service is good and their Thursday night live music (guitar, keyboard, and an incredible sax player) is just enough to enhance the evening without having to shout to hear one another. This place is located next to “Five Guys” burger place off of Emory road. It's very unassuming from the outside, but you'll be transported once you walk in...the decor and lighting is just enough to separate your dining experience from the rest of your day. I really encourage you to make the push to get to this place...take 75-North to Emory Rd. Turn right off the exit, and then drive about 1-2 miles until you see a shopping-like center up on a hill on the left…it’s there (you can see it’s sign from Emory Rd).
