A little more research into the KC move mighr have been nice. From my understanding TVA was unwilling to continue to lease parking due to their wanting to sell the building.
That being said I am sure fuddy-duddy management types that live, breathe, and sleep in Farragut and seem flummoxed by those who do not want the same will steamroll any relocation decisions, but I don't think KC wanted to leave downtown for the hell of it.
