I interviewed Tom Reed in 2010 and as someone who has entertained hundreds of these stories, the fact is that most are just fabulous fiction.
I can count on one hand the number of abduction stories that I see validity in. The Reed case is one of those.
Tom's story has never changed, he has compiled extraordinary amounts of data. This includes almost any type of information you could ask him for.
I have found Tom to be an honest, forthright man who hides nothing. He's passed lie detector tests and worked with MUFON extensively (among others) to unravel the events that have plagued his family for generations.
Unfortunately, Tom doesn't get the interest that others do. This is likely because he tells it like it is. He's not talking about being probed or having sex with aliens.
Tom's story is straight forward and too the point. I'd much rather talk to him about something valid than a woman who claims to be a breeder for ET or some other silly fabrication.
The Reed Family encounters should be front line UFO news. Maybe someday people will wake up and realize that Hollywood does not choreograph valid encounters.
While the sex, probing and traveling to other worlds may be exciting, it's the "seemingly" mundane and logical experiences that IMO hold the truth and the real intrigue.
I recommend this story to anyone that wants to know the likely scenario of most real abduction cases.
