The best news in this story is the fact that they're trying to pay $1.5k a month in rent. I'm sure times are hard for them and I they're sure to only get harder. As Chet said, there's really nothing that can be legally done to stop the mess but I'm pretty sure that good old capitalism will come to our rescue on this one.
