Yes and no. I live on the 100 Block as well, and so far as I know, there is no "design" for a park. In fact, I remember that the area was specifically excluded from the original public input session regarding the streetscape project.
Yes, the road is being removed. But the city promised an additional input session for what would go there. So far as I'm aware, that hasn't happened yet.Michael

It's reassuring to hear that the MSDA also sees a need for formal policies. The Office of Special Events likewise suggested these are being developed. But there is no evidence to suggest that any public process is being conducted to do so yet. I'm afraid I'll still be hearing this when the next, inevitable, SNAFU occurs. It's passed due.~m.
