Speaking for Knoxville Films directly, we are a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to support and promote the arts in East Tennessee.

We do this primarily by publicizing the works of local artists through posts and our calendar. We also post information for local crew positions and auditions, give volunteer and financial support to the 10-Hour Film Festival and the Secret City Film Festival, and one day we hope to create fund for artists in need of financial assistance.

We do all of this for fun and to help out our fellow artists however we can. Sometimes it's just a little humor, sometimes it's technical advice, and many times it's giving much needed production experience to up and coming filmmakers.

We shot this PSA for fun and as a training opportunity for others. We hope you like it but if you didn't, that's OK too.
