"Knoxville is a city with too much violent crime. Education isn't what it should be, either. Organizations like KCDC, KARM, Remote Area Medical, and Habitat for Humanity have greatly improved the lives of many but what Knoxville needs is to seriously improve education for the underserved. Education leads to better jobs and improved self-worth, which leads to less crime and a safer community."
