The Knoxville Acupuncture and Yoga Center's approach to health is to balance the body's energy and harmonize the mind, spirit, body and emotions. The Center's director and acupuncturist, Prasad Robert Hutter states, "I want my clients to feel their best. Of course I want to alleviate my client's symptoms of pain and disease; however I also want to eliminate the root causes of their illness. I want people to thrive and find their passions, what truly makes us happy and satisfied. This leads to robust health."

Prasad's credentials include two Masters Degrees: one in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute and one in Public Health from Columbia University. He is also a Registered Nurse and a long time student and teacher [36 years] of meditation and yoga. Prasad said, "I've found that working in partnership with people yields the greatest benefits. My work is to help each person become renewed, revitalized and brought to the fullness of his or her potential."

To help clients reach their full potential, the center offers Acupuncture, Yoga, Zero Balancing and Chinese Herbal Medicine. A partial list of conditions addressed are: stress, fatigue, back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, emotional issues including: anxiety, depression, panic attacks and all forms of addiction; the side affects of chemotherapy and radiation; eczema, respiration, circulation, high blood pressure, digestive issues, immune disorders, gynecological and infertility issues.

The Center offers a nationally certified, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course. The training begins in September. The National Yoga Alliance grants membership to all those who successfully complete this training.

The atmosphere at the Knoxville Acupuncture and Yoga Center is friendly and relaxed. Honesty, insight, kindness and integrity are the keystones.
