A couple of local artists are getting ready to release new videos this spring. The Jaystorm Project, a long-running R and B and hip-hop group, will premiere the video for "Get Wit' Cha," the lead single from an as-yet-untitled upcoming album, at Sapphire on Friday, April 16. "Get Wit' Cha" was produced by Pack Dog Productions, a new local film and video production company formed by Michael Samstag (War & Truth), Curt Willis, and Rock Hurst.
"I love the feeling I got shooting this video," Jaystorm says in a press release. "I really think we came up with something special and different, and I can't wait for everyone to see it."
The Dirty Guv'nahs will shoot a video for "We'll Be the Light" at Preservation Pub on Sunday, April 25. The band has rented the bar for the night and will have free beer and pizza available for fans who want to appear in the crowd for the shoot. A few more substantial roles are available; if you're interested, contact the band at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Dirty Guv'nahs shoot starts at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WUTK 90.3 FM.
