It's been almost three years since local punk-turned-hard rock band the American Plague released its last album, Heart Attack. The wait's not exactly over, but the band has just finished what appears to be a big-time, week-long recording session at VuDu Studios in Long Island, New York. (You can see a couple of clips from the trip at YouTube.)
Part of the long delay between albums has been that 10 Years guitarist Ryan "Tater" Johnson, who produced Heart Attack, is now a full-fledged member of the American Plague, along with guitarist/singer Jaw, bassist Dave Dammit, and drummer Timon Navare.
No word yet on the title or release date for the new disc.
