Knoxville's own Ashley Johnston, second-place finisher in this spring's Season 9 Biggest Loser, has made it Facebook official. As of Aug. 1, she's declared herself "in a relationship" with the "Sweetest, kindest, loving man in the world!" And while obsessive viewers had noted "googly eyes" from fellow castmate and eventual winner Michael Ventrella, the feisty-but-sweet country girl in pink is seeing another winner from the show: Koli Palu, an athlete and high school coach who hails from Rohnert Park, Calif. Koli became the "at home" winner, beating out close contender Sherry Johnston, Ashley's mom and Pink Team partner, winning $100,000 for taking 215 pounds off his 403 pound starting weight.
Ashley became known as the Pink Ninja in the course of losing 183 pounds, or 48.93 percent of her body weight, the most ever for a woman on the show. No word on whether the relationship will go bicoastal, or what: Koli's cousin and BL partner Sam Poueu has already moved in with his on-air sweetie, Season 9 fellow contestant Stephanie Anderson.
