Hi, websters! I'm a Senior Designer with Metro Pulse, contributing to the weekly print product, as well as helping produce our Web site.
I've worked in journalism since 2001, when I was a copy editing intern in Roanoke, Va. I loved the attention to detail that careful word editing called for, and when I started designing news pages a few years later, I translated that detail-oriented nature for page layout.
I moved to Knoxville just before the spring of 2007 with my fiance (indeed, I'm taken! So everyone who fell in love as soon as they saw my mug here will have to find themselves another girl). I'm still uncovering rocks in this East Tennessee town, and I'm always on the hunt for new sources for good beer and coffee.
