Well known for their well made hot dogs, Rogers Place has recently expanded their kitchen and menu. Now you can enjoy burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and more while watching the game or just killing time with your friends. They also feature Golden Tee live, live music, karaoke and a Tuesday night blues jam along with great happy hour deals and lunch specials, too.

From YUMMM!, the Metro Pulse restaurant guide:

There are some things that are just good to know, like where to find a good hot dog or where there’s a nearby spot to enjoy a cold beer and a smoke. If you know anything about West Knoxville, you’ll know that you can attend to all those needs in the same place—and that’s Roger’s Place. Yet, if that’s all you know about this friendly bar located on Kingston Pike just east of Cedar Bluff, then it’s probably time to visit again.

Roger’s Place is well known for the quality of its all-beef hotdogs, but owner Chris Patrick has upped the ante with a major kitchen expansion. So in addition to the Gourmet Roger’s Dog, you can enjoy a full menu of good stuff like fried pickles, Buffalo shrimp and cheese fries with bacon. And that’s just from the appetizer list. Roger’s offers great wings, available in varied degrees from mild to crazy hot, as well as salads, burgers and sandwiches that from clubs and to grilled cheese.

With all those choices, it’s one of the best places in town to relax for lunch and a game. Roger’s has the walls covered in big screen TVs that broadcast a whole gamut of sporting events—pair that with daily specials and you’ve got a lunch hour to look forward to. And at Roger’s Place you’ll find plenty of conversation—there’s always a friendly face behind the bar or sitting right there beside you.

Of course, Roger’s serves really cold beer, but they also have a full bar and offer one of the best Happy Hours around from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 7 days a week. The deals on pitchers of beer are really hard to beat. It’s a 21 and over establishment, so smoking is allowed—and they have what may be one of the last cigarette vending machines around. They’ve also added smoke eaters so that the place is enjoyable to non-smokers, too.

Day or night, Roger’s makes for a fine place to hang out. There’s a Blues jam on Tuesdays, karaoke on Thursdays, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. In between, you can enjoy just being with friends, playing your favorite music on Roger’s Touch Tunes juke box, or getting in some time with Golden Tee Live 2014. And when the weather starts warming up and the tented patio opens, there’s even more room to share some quality time, good food and great entertainment with friends that you bring or meet on the spot.
