With its Smoky Mountains setting and rustic lodge interior, the Park Grill is exactly the kind of dining experience you’re hoping to find in Gatlinburg. It specializes in fresh cuts of naturally aged steaks grilled over the open flames of real Tennessee hickory, which are sure to satisfay the steak connoisseur; meanwhile, their Rainbow Trout, Pecan Chicken, and other premium entrees offer some wonderful options. Not starving? You can also order lighter portions of selections from the regular menu at reduced prices until 6 p.m.

From YUMMM! the Metro Pulse Restaurant Guide:

The Park Grill Steakhouse is a vision fulfilled for Geoff Wolpert, who set out to create the ultimate steakhouse experience, complete with the warmth of a magnificent mountain lodge and the unsurpassed flavors of hand-cut, hickory-grilled steaks, and specialty entrees like prime rib and fresh mountain trout. Once you take your first step inside the doors, your senses will be filled with a grand display of sights, sounds, and marvelous smells. You will be in the midst of a grand lodge constructed from massive spruce trees that tower overhead. The Park Grill will remind you of a majestic national park lodge nestled against the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located just 200 yards from the front door.

You’ll find a salad bar that seems to go on forever. It’s fresh-prepped daily and overflowing with bountiful vegetables, cheeses, fruits, fresh-from-scratch dressings and more. The Park Grill also makes decisions easy—they offer many entrée combinations, including plates with steak and chicken, steak and grilled or fried trout, and prime rib and chicken or shrimp.

You’ll have to come to Park Grill for two signature desserts: the Jack Daniel’s Crème Bruleé and the gigantic dessert affectionately known as the Brownie Bash, a gi-normous brownie complete with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream—and a bear paw print on top. Another wonderful feature is the team serving approach: a gracious and attentive staff attends to your comfort and satisfaction from threshold to fond farewell.

Why stay home when you can have the ultimate mountain dining experience? Go on, take advantage of the call-ahead seating by deciding how many adults and children are in your party, what time you want to eat, then call or stop in and see the host staff—and browse Gatlinburg while you wait.
