So i had only been living in Knoxville for about 5 months, when a buddy of mine needed help moving. He lived downtown at the time and I agreed. When we were done loading up his s.u.v. he said he wanted to grab some food. So I went with him to his favorite restaurant in town Niros Gyros. I have ben going back ever since. They serve a delicious greek/chicago food. When i come in the owner makes everybody feel at home, and did i mention the food. I would suggest this to anybody looking for something to eat in the downtown area.

Niro's is one of my favorite restaurants, period. The service and employees are great, the place is always clean, and it's great if you're on a budget.
The food is incredible. The gyros can be a little messy, but they're delicious. I had never eaten a gyro before, and have not had a comparable one since. Niro's is great; I would (and do) recommend it to everyone.

I would have to agree with these comments, definetely delicious gyros..and u do feel like ur at home and the staff is very friendly. Great food that's very affordable. I have had other gyros but once i tried Niro's Gyros i'm not going anywhere else. They also have many different chicago style favorites!! Thumbs up for Niro's Gyros!!
