This self-described, “old world bistro, bar and café,” has already earned a reputation for having the best filet au poivre ever. Foodies with memories may recall Chef Morey Gomez from the kitchen of Bearden’s late Chef Bistro and/or Fairbanks, but if memory fails, a bite of Shrimp a la Serge will certainly do the trick. The menu is fresh, decidedly French (with occasional exceptions), and well executed. Do not bypass the homemade bread. (The bar is open Tue.-Sat. 3 p.m.-11 p.m.)
