The Downtown Grill and Pub is a staple on Gay Street. The atmosphere is always lively and the food delicious. Now that the smoking ban is in effect, it's become even better.

The only problem I have with this bar is say you are with a group of 4 or 5 and you go to the bar to get 2 or 3 drinks you have to have ID's for everybody whether its the first drink or fifth. It's just a little ridiculous. Show ID at door, show ID for first drink, show it for the second. I mean jesus ge a memory.
