Description: In October of 2002, Barley's Taproom in Knoxville, Tennessee, became the first independently owned and operated Barley's location. Much like its Greenville taproom, a 19th century hardware and feed store is the home for Barley's third location. Situated in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee's historic Old City at 200 E. Jackson Avenue, this Barley's was named "Best Bar in America" by Playboy.com for December 2001. The 16,000 square foot space has a relaxed and casual atmosphere. They have a selection of 40 different draft beers to choose from and different local, regional, and national live musicians play regularly.

My favorite pizza in town and best beer selection in town. A great place to relax and drink with friends on the top floor. If there is a band playing, which is very often, the music is good, but if want to talk go upstairs. A great local place--where I always bring out of towners.
