From 2011, St. John’s only publicly released drawings show an interim plan, a pedestrian green space between the cathedral and the Walnut Building. However, as announced for the first time in May, the wide space is seen eventually as a second driveway to the church’s private parking lot. According to fundraising projections, this pedestrian green-space era may last less than five years.
