KSO Music Director Lucas Richman has made a conscious effort to avoid the “elitist art form” label, undertaking major co-productions with Clarence Brown Theatre and instituting new programming such as small shows at Remedy Coffee in the Old City led by concertmaster Gabriel Lefkowitz.
