The Case of the Missing Monument: This large stone Farragut birthplace marker, dedicated by Admiral George Dewey in 1900, stood on the shore of Ft. Loudoun Lake for 111 years until it vanished last summer. A property owner hints that she has access to it, and that it might return, but not to its original setting.
