Pecan Pie

Prepared 9 inch pastry shell, chilled.

(Note: Buttermilk Sky Pie's crust is a trade secret, so you'll need to come up with your own!)

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

3 eggs, slightly beaten

3/4 light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup pecans, chopped or whole

Preheat oven to 375 F. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake on lower shelf for 40-45 minutes.
