Hudson K's Show Will Go on Despite Robbery

Earlier this month, Hudson K’s van was robbed of a couple of synthesizers and “other musical pieces essential to making the show happen,” according to a Facebook post from the band’s songwriter and singer, Christina Horn. It’s one of the most demoralizing things that can happen to a band, but Horn and drummer Nate Barrett are intent on getting over it as soon as possible; the duo’s next show has been tagged as the Night of the Forbidden Moog (the poster reads, “DON’T FOOG WITH THE MOOG”), and will feature Hudson K in a stripped-down format, along with performances by Chattanooga electronic pop songwriter Danimal Pinson, local acoustic band the Jon Whitlock Trio, local comedian Zac Fallon, and Chattanooga alt-rock band Glowing Bordis.

The Night of the Forbidden Moog will be held at Pilot Light on Saturday, March 1, at 9 p.m. Admission is $7.

Horn and Barrett haven’t given up on recovering their gear, either. Photos and serial numbers of the missing pieces are available at facebook.com/hudsonkmusic.
