Parking is a piece of cake in Knoxville compared to San Francisco, Calif. [“Our Parking Problem,” cover story by Cari Wade Gervin, Aug. 1, 2013] They were charging $4 for 15 minutes in a garage blocks from Fisherman’s Wharf. Most of the garages were full. We were lucky to get a space for $4 for each 15 minutes. Parking in Knoxville is at least available and you can stay all day for $7 or $10. In San Francisco we call that a bargain.
