Foreclosures Continue Decline

The number of foreclosures in Knox County has taken a sharp decline through the first eight months of the year as opposed to the same period last year.

In 2012 there were 900 foreclosures through August. This year the number is down to 753.

This compares to a total of 1,059 property foreclosures during the same period in 2010, after the collapse of the housing market in 2009.
