MetroFest happened again. No one was hurt, as far as we know, and the local-music festival actually helped, by raising more than $5,000 for the Joy of Music School. That means at least 500 people braved the threatening weather to go see 25 bands play at eight venues all over downtown and in the Old City, and paid $10 to do it.
As of press time, the Metro Pulse staff is still a little sleep-deprived and hungover, but high-level meetings about next year’s MetroFest will commence soon. If you have any ideas, suggestions, requests, drink recipes, or any other feedback about MetroFests past and future, send it to everettm@metropulse.com.
