I have known Ed for many years here in Oak Ridge. [“Ed Westcott’s Secret City,” cover story by Chris Barrett, Nov. 15, 2012] He was fortunate to be chosen as history’s eyewitness photographer while the Manhattan Project grew to wartime operability. We who have had the chance to meet and know Ed and see the pieces of a unique city’s development and life have been doubly blessed. Ed Westcott is a treasure.
