White Chapel

White Chapel

Here’s the new single from Knoxville metal band Whitechapel: Chugga-chugga-chug-growl-shriek-high-pitched tweedly guitar part-chugga-chug-repeat. It’s called “Hate Creation,” and it’s from the band’s upcoming self-titled album, which is set to be released on June 19 on indie giant Metal Blade. Listen to the single here.

The new disc, Whitechapel’s fourth, will hit stores and retailers just in time for the band’s June 30-Aug. 5 appearances on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Tour with Slipknot, Slayer, and As I Lay Dying.

Whitechapel’s previous album, 2010’s A New Era of Corruption, reached #43 on Billboard’s album charts.
