Ojasvin and Iris Davis, from Aotearoa, New Zealand, lead an introduction to the traditional Maori warrior dance at a free open house.

Bark in the Park

6-9 p.m, Market Square. Free.

Hosted by the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, this celebration of all things canine features vendors and games. A $10 donation enters your pooch into the doggie competitions, and $25 adds you to the Light Up the Darkness Memorial Walk.

Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

7 p.m, Bijou Theatre. $104.

The Class of 2012 will include Nancy Fahey, Nikki McCray, Pamela McGee, Inge Nissen, Robin Roberts, and Dawn Staley. There will also be a free autograph session at the Hall of Fame at 10 a.m. More info at wbhof.com.
