Fighting For Votes
In Tennessee, the two major political parties are the custodians of the voting process, and whichever party happens to be in power gets to dictate where, when, and how that process is organized through local election commissions. Theoretically, Republicans and Democrats create checks and balances resulting in free and fair elections. But this year, Knoxville Democrats have been toting up a long list of grievances with the Republican-controlled election commission, as Betty Bean reports.
