Former state Sen. Jamie Woodson won’t be able to vote for her successor in this election. The Tennessee Journal reports that Woodson, who still has a home in Knoxville, has moved her voter registration to Wilson County where she and her husband have a farm.
Woodson left her Senate seat to head an education reform group, which requires travel and spending time in Nashville. But she expects to also spend a lot of time at her home in Knoxville.
Woodson’s seat was won by Becky Duncan Massey in a special election last year and state Sen. Massey is now running for a full term.
