Wah Lum Kung Fu Show

6:30-9 p.m., World’s Fair Park. $8-$15.

Yes, they will be kung fu fighting at World’s Fair Park. Wah Lum of Knoxville will be celebrating its 18th anniversary with demonstrations of kung fu, tai chi, lion and dragon dance, weaponry, and more.

Sunday, July 8

Smoky Mountain Blues Society Blues Cruise

5-9 p.m., Star of Knoxville Riverboat. $13-$18.

Chuggin’ down the river listening to the blues (by the band Grits) on a sultry Knoxville summer evening sounds downright romantical.

Tuesday, July 10

City Council Meeting

7 p.m., Main Assembly Room, City County Building.

Yep, this is where it all happens.

Wednesday, July 11

Sign Ordinance Task Force Public Hearing

4 p.m, KCDC (901 N. Broadway).
