If you don’t show up for meetings, maybe you’ve lost interest.
Todd Shelton, a Greeneville attorney, is the East Tennessee representative for hunters and fishermen on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission. He missed all 12 meetings of the TWRC last year and East Tennessee hunters complained at meetings that their representative didn’t return phone calls.
There is an amendment to a bill in the Legislature this year, call it the “Todd Shelton amendment,” which says that if you miss up to four meetings you can be assumed to have quit the board and be removed.
