Former Outlaws motorcycle club president Mark Lester has been released from a federal prison in North Carolina to a halfway house in Knoxville. Lester got caught up in a federal investigation of the national club and was convicted of a RICO charge since he was head of the Knoxville chapter. He was sentenced in Virginia and served 18 months in the slammer.
Lester is a welding engineer who is often called on to handle high-tech jobs, like containment vessels for the U.S. Navy’s nuclear powered aircraft carriers. The Knoxville club was raided two years ago by local cops but Lester was turned over to the feds for prosecution in the Virginia case.
