Union County’s own Kenny Chesney turned in some impressive concert numbers this past year. The tour with him and Tim McGraw was the seventh-largest grossing tour of musical artists, with $96.5 million in revenue from 23 shows and over a million tickets sold, according to Billboard’s listings.
Madonna was the top-grossing act but her 1.6 million tickets sold came from 72 shows—three and a half times as many shows as Chesney.
Bruce Springsteen was third, followed by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Cirque Du Soleil, Cold Play and Lady Gaga, then Chesney and McGraw.
Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was down at No. 18 and country singer Taylor Swift came in at No. 23.
