Teacher Group Likes Dems

An organization of teachers in Knox County has released endorsements for state House and Senate races, and the list mirrors the Democratic ticket for the fall.

Knox County Political Action Committee for Education (KC-PACE) has endorsed Evelyn Gill in the Senate race against incumbent Republican Becky Duncan Massey. They endorsed Gloria Johnson and Anthony Hancock in two local House races, and endorsed incumbent Democratic House member Joe Armstrong. Those are all the Knox County Democrats on the general election ballot.

KC-PACE interviewed Nick Cazana, Johnson, Gary Loe, Jerome Miller, Hancock, Bo Pierce, Shelley Breeding, and Gill.

These candidates “were unable to meet for an interview,” according to the KC-PACE announcement: Massey, Vanderbilt Brabson, Ryan Haynes, Steve Hall, Tim Hutchison, Roger Kane, and Joey McCulley.
