Men’s Health magazine has named WUTK one of the 20 Coolest College Radio Stations in the country in its most recent issue. The list includes esteemed stations like the University of Washington’s KEXP in Seattle and Santa Monica College’s KCRW, home of the long-running syndicated program Morning Becomes Eclectic. WUTK’s entry is accompanied by a nice blurb that notes the deep-cut classic rock program Kill Ugly Radio, which airs on Wednesday afternoons. (The magazine also gives WUTK credit for airing the syndicated Acoustic Café program.)
