Wow! Thanks for the fascinating profile of Julia Tucker. [“Public Figure,” cover story by Betty Bean, March 15, 2012] I have known Julia and called her a friend for over 30 years; yet, your article explored facets of her life that I was unaware of. She is someone I greatly admire. I feel many would be well-served to emulate her and her philosophy of life.
