HoLa Festival

A daylong celebration of Latino food, music, and culture.

Sunday, Sept. 25

UT Symphony Orchestra

4 p.m., Cox Auditorium (UT campus). Free.

UTSO gets ambitious with Mahler’s Symphony No. 1.

Monday, Sept. 26

Knox County Commission

2 p.m., Main Assembly Room, City County Building

Agenda items include billboards, the ex-sheriff’s legal fees, and, yes, Carter Elementary School.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

Primary Election Day

8 a.m.-8 p.m., all city and 6th state Senate poll locations
