The band has been quiet for the last few months, but fall is shaping up as a good rebound for Jonathan Sexton and the Big Love Choir. The group played in front of a crowd of thousands at the recent Foothills Fall Festival in Maryville earlier this month, and their brand-new EP, Take These Days, has broken the top 20 on CMJ’s top 200 chart. On top of that, the band has a new video for the song “Babylon.”
If all that good news makes you want to dance, you're in luck—Sexton and the band are holding their official Knoxville EP release party tonight at the Cider House, opening for the long-running Murfreesboro power-pop idols the Features. Doors open at 8 p.m., 18 and up, tickets are $10 (plus a $3 surcharge if you’re under 21).
