Last week’s mayoral campaigning brought a spate of personal attacks. But on Friday, everyone was all smiles, as Mark Padgett announced the birth of his son, William Pierce Padgett. After he tweeted the news, Madeline Rogero responded from her Twitter account, “Congratulations to you and Katie on the birth of your son!” Padgett shortly replied, “Thanks … @madelinerogero & everyone for their best wishes. Katie & I couldn’t be happier that he’s finally here!” Padgett took the weekend off campaigning to be with his family.
