The Parlor is parlaying its success with the “hand-crafted food and music” at the cafe at the Knoxville Visitor Center and music shop at 776 Chickamauga into a third venue—a cafe at 1008 E. Woodland Ave., across the street from St. Mary’s hospital. The menu consists of traditional American fare, including soups, salads, sandwiches, hot entrees, gourmet coffee, baked goods and ice cream, and hours are 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, with breakfast served all day. Like its visitor center foods, much of the menu involves local produce, some of it grown at the North Knoxville location. Signature item’s include Tommy’s Famous Biscuits & Gravy and infused lemonades made with fruit and herbs from the garden. Other highlights: Free Wi-Fi, and weekly musical events, including “Fiddles & Vittles” each Tuesday.
