Tribe One e-mailed supporters this week with the news that a $50,000 fund-raising goal has been reached and the organization, which offers after-school and mentoring programs for inner-city youths, won’t have to close its doors.
The organization no doubt benefited from thousands of the ubiquitous Madeline Rogero-for-mayor T-shirts, ordered from Tribe One’s nonprofit T-shirt business.
Tribe One was begun by the late City Councilman Danny Mayfield and about-to-depart City Council member Chris Woodhull.
