Former state Sen. Bud Gilbert has had an oopsie with his law license.
The Harvard-trained lawyer didn’t keep up with his Continuing Legal Education requirements and his law license has been suspended by the Board of Professional Responsibility, according to the board’s website. Attorneys are required to attend legal seminars and programs periodically, and failure to do so draws a reprimand. The normal procedure is for the attorney to get the required classes and the license is restored.
Gilbert’s expertise is in the area of pensions and utilities.
