In his piece on the future of Austin-East Magnet High School, Jesse Fox Mayshark wrote, “The number of students transferring into Austin-East is dwarfed by the dozens who transfer out to other Knox County schools.” If Mr. Mayshark had interviewed some of those who have left A-E in addition to three who are successful there, your readers would have a better idea whether Austin-East can be saved.
