I picked up the April 7 copy of Metro Pulse and discovered the article about Parson Brownlow. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. The reason I am so impressed is that the following day the Knoxville News Sentinel came out with a series on the Civil War and headlining the series was a section on who else—but Parson Brownlow. For Metro Pulse to have thought of this prior to the Sentinel is nothing short of, again I say, brilliant.
I’m looking forward to celebrating with Metro Pulse their first Pulitzer with this accomplishment. Keep up the good work and keep that rag on the racks!
