Dirty Guv'nahs Celebrate Fifth Anniversary With Bijou Shows

The Dirty Guv’nahs will celebrate five years together with a two-night stand at the Bijou Theatre over Easter weekend. The enormously popular local roots-rock band has sold out the theater several times in the last couple of years, most recently for a New Year’s Eve show; the upcoming dates are Friday, April 22, with Moon Taxi and Saturday, April 23, with the Features. Tickets are $16.50 for one night or $28 for both nights.

The five-piece band, which recently returned from SXSW in Austin, Texas, is still supporting its 2010 album Youth Is in Our Blood, recorded at Levon Helm’s studio in Woodstock, N.Y.
